The Cardinals will now face a Kent State team that is below .500 and is on a two game losing streak. Then they go to Athens to play an Ohio team that is also 1-1 in conference and then complete their three game road trip at Northern Illinois who is 1-4 at home.

The freshmen have stepped up and have had a big impact for this team starting with Tatiana Mason who leads the team with three goals. Another freshman spotlight is on Jenna Dombrowski who has had a goal this season and two shots on goal.

The freshman have had a big impact but it’s the leadership of seniors like Lauren Roll who have helped the team become so dominant this season. Roll believes that trust between teammates has helped the team get better on a individual level as well as on a team bonding level.

The Lady Cardinals will need the freshman to continue to make a big impact as they head towards the MAC tournament with hopes of attaining another MAC title.
