Women's golf takes 10th at Redbird Invite

After two rounds of golf on Sunday, Ball State women's golf returned to Weibring Golf Club Monday morning to take on 11 other schools in the final round of the Annual Redbird Invitational. 

The Cardinals once again finished in 10th place with a score of 948. Northern Illinois won the tournament with a score of 914 and Bradley in second with 915.

After a strong first two rounds the Cardinals were again led by sophomore Manon Tounalom who finished the last round four over par. This placed her tied for the 10th spot in the tournament. 

Morgan Nadaline followed close behind Tounalom by going five over par on the final 18 holes. Other key players include Liz Kim who finished six over par, Holly Anderson with 10 over par, and Sydney Anderson with 11 over par.

Competing as an individual was Freshman Emily Knouff who finished the final round 10 over par and 21 over par for the tournament. Knouff tied for 30th in her first ever competition.

Ball State will continue its season at The Players Club on Sept.18-19 as they host the Cardinal Classic.
